Inver Hills Community College recently celebrated the dedication of the campus’ new library classroom, which houses a computer lab. Dakota Electric Association’s Board of Directors visited the campus for the dedication of the room named in honor of the company’s support to the college over the years.
“Dakota Electric Association has a reputation for outstanding service and integrity as well as a steadfast commitment to invest financial resources and employee talent to enhance our communities,” said President Tim Wynes. “Your support is incredibly important and Inver Hills has been able to grow and serve its community through the support, leadership and guidance of partners like Dakota Electric.”
The donations that Dakota Electric has provided to Inver Hills comes from unclaimed capital credits. Since 2008, Dakota Electric has pledged $143,800 to support scholarship and tuition assistance programs for students.
“The generation of students in post-secondary education today are our leaders for tomorrow,” Dakota Electric CEO Greg Miller said. “We are happy we can support students who seek to improve their lives through education.”[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
