Each month Dakota Electric sends members information with their bills about programs to save energy as well as important facts about your electricity. We want to make sure our members who receive their bills electronically don’t miss out on the information.

In order to make our billing process more efficient, some members will have their bill cycle moved to a later date.

What does this mean?
For members who received a bill change insert or an online electronic insert your next bill will arrive roughly a week later than usual and might have a few extra days of energy use applied to it due to the transition. Going forward, your bill will arrive around this same time frame.
