FARMINGTON, MN (July 2, 2024) — Dakota Electric’s annual Member Appreciation Event returns to the Minnesota Zoo on July 18 from 4-8 p.m. This annual event is a gesture to thank all our valued members and their families for their ongoing support. Members planning to attend are highly encouraged to register beforehand. Please visit Dakota Electric’s website for more information.
To support our community, we encourage attendees to bring non-perishable food items to donate to The Open Door, a local food shelf. Monetary contributions are also welcome and will be directed to 360 Communities.
“This is such a fun and exciting event. We love interacting with and giving back to our members and we get to do both during our annual Member Appreciation Night,” said Ryan Hentges, President and CEO of Dakota Electric. “Seeing all the donations our members bring to support the local food shelves is very inspiring—it shows how much we can accomplish when we all come together for the common good.”
Since the inception of this event in 1998, members have continually demonstrated their commitment to giving back. Over the years, members have donated over 42,000 pounds of food and contributed more than $16,000 to local food shelves, making a significant difference in the lives of those in need.
