On Tuesday, September 24, Dakota Electric hosted its highly anticipated Energy Fest, offering a dynamic evening filled with excitement and education. The event drew in a large crowd, eager to explore the latest in energy innovation.

With 405 tickets reserved on Eventbrite, 226 drivers and 179 attendees made their way to the event. A major highlight of the evening was the opportunity to test drive electric vehicles, with 25 dealership vehicles from 12 different manufacturers available for test drives.

In addition to the test drives, the event featured a display of electric vehicles, including a number of member-owned EVs and an electric squad car from the Eagan Police. Attendees also explored booths from 16 vendors, enjoyed ice cream and connected with experts to learn how cutting-edge technologies are powering a more sustainable future. Energy Fest was not only a night of learning, but also a celebration of innovation and community engagement.
