Important Note: By signing up for QuikPay, you will no longer receive a paper statement in the mail.
*Convenience Fees
An independent service provider will charge a $3.95 convenience fee for all debit or credit card transaction amounts made per each $1,000 segment. The convenience fee for using an electronic check is $3.95 regardless of the amount. Dakota Electric does not receive any money from the collection of convenience fees. You will be charged a convenience fee for each transaction you make.

If you misplaced the return envelope included with your bill, send your payment along with the payment stub, to:

- Do not mail cash.
- Make check payable to Dakota Electric Association.
- Do not staple or tape your check to your payment coupon.
- Write your Dakota Electric account number on your check.
- Deduct payments automatically from a checking or savings account*.
- Payment is deducted on the due date of your bill.
- Receive a paper bill with enough time to review it before payment, or go paperless by enrolling in QuikPay online billing.
- Bills are paid on time every month.
- No more stamps or checks.
*Payment will not be deducted until noted on your bill saying “DO NOT PAY”.
